Isshin-Ryu Karate originated on the island of Okinawa.

It emphasizes patience, courtesy, consistent and regular training, and moral culture (doing the right thing because it is the right thing to do.)

You discipline your body to discipline your mind. In the process, you also learn awareness and self-defense.

Students enjoy classes at Romney Taylor's World Fighting Arts because of the respectful teaching style of the instructors and their thorough instruction. Parents of younger students appreciate the emphasis on discipline, self-control, and character development.

Romney Taylor's World Fighting Arts proudly adheres the tradition established by Angi Uezu and taught by the late John Overton, one of the founders of the original World Fighting Arts.

The tradition continues in classes held Wednesday and Friday.
